Reading to children gives them the tools they need to succeed early in life. The Mother Goose is a program to bring fun, educational storytelling to your classroom or special event.
Online Storytime
Children form their personalities and communication styles at a young age. The Mother Goose embraces the art of telling stories to help kids overcome barriers to creative and productive forms of expression.
Engaging Content
Reading to children transports them to far-away lands, full of adventure. The Mother Goose fosters the dreamer in every child through their use of educational and engaging storytelling.
Recent Videos
Whether on a long car ride or learning remotely, watch as your elementary-aged dreamer interacts with the stories being read to them, including Fairy Tales, Golden Books, Seasonal and Heartfelt selections. This is NOT your typical Storytime, where fidgety kids can’t sit still and no one is paying attention. Since 2020 The Mother Goose and her friend Feathers have produced nearly 100 videos for children, all streaming free on our video wall. Here’s a selection of her most recent droppings:

I am a retired schoolteacher of 23 years, certified to work with children of all ages in the Licking County school district. I enjoyed my time as a teacher, a parent and a volunteer. After raising two children of my own, I wanted to continue pursuing my passion for storytelling, promoting creativity and learning for students at a young age. So I started working with principals and teachers to read classic poems and age-appropriate books dressed in-character as The Mother Goose.
